The TEC Dynamic Preform Buffer is an automated solution for Preform Handling and Feeding into a filling line blow molder where one or several of the following needs exist;

- - High Speed Production.
- - Delicate or Sensitive Lightweight Products.
- - In-Line Feed with safety Gaylord inlet.
- - Tight Space Availability.
COMPONENTS:
Dumper Unit.
· Lift and Dump unit, when working In-Line, is used to absorb line feed stoppages or to balance the line if the Injection Machine production rate is below the blow molder(s) speed.
Stacked Conveyor Buffer.
· Array of stacked conveyors used to generate the preform accumulation.
· Designed to softly transfer preforms between levels with a max preform transfer height of 10”.
· Automatically matches discharge speeds to inlet speeds, creating a seamless, continuous preform feed.
Control Panel.
· The Preform Buffer is completely automated.
· The panel can be scaled to handle the downstream conveyors directly to a Preform Orientor.
MAIN FEATURES:
- - 2.0m3 [70ft3] of real storage capacity. The Stacked Conveyor Array allows to maximize the space efficiency, while creating preform stacks no higher than 10in.
- - Positive pressure. Hopper pressurized (+10 pascal) with room temp filtered air to avoid dust contamination and temperature stabilization of the preforms while in the preform buffer.
- - Discharge Speed up to 25,000 ppm. Considering an InLine feed system capable of producing and handling this amount of preform. When using a Dumper only feed, the maximum preform input speed is 1 Gaylord / 3 minutes.
- - Adaptive operation. The conveyors switch between accumulation, filling and clear-out operation automatically, allowing a constant gapless feed matching any speed within the acceptable range.
- - No Changeover Parts or Recipes. One-Size-Fit-All-Solution: requires no recipe changeover when preform changes size, weight or shape. Even changes in machine speed are automatically adjusted for during operation.
- - Easy access for maintenance. Stack conveyors are supported by a free standing frame with removable top and all four sides covers to openly access the stack conveyors.
